Love this place... People are cool and easy to deal with.
Very authentic Japanese food.
We love this place great food, super nice service from the time you walk in til you leave. Great family times here and many more to come.
MoreI've eaten at Sushi Yama a number of times and I love the yummy yummy roll. My sister doesn't like sushi but even she had to admit that deep-fried sushi is great. The service is always good and prices are very reasonable.
MoreGreat food
Excellent food at affordable prices on the lunch menu (note: I have only eaten at Sushi Yama for Sunday lunches). They have excellent steak hibachi that both my wife and I enjoy. Also, the food is served very quickly, so you can eat and get on with they rest of your day. I highly recommend this restaurant.
MoreThe food was pretty good but the woman server was horrible she has a smart mouth and she touch my straw with her hands and plus she's a server and doesn't know anything. I would go again but I don't recommend the woman server.
Moregood food
ROACH!!! My girlfriend and I went to have dinner and a roach come across our table. The management didn't ask us if we were ok or anything. Then the waitress didn't come back till it was time to pay.
MoreGreat sushi, great prices. Very courteous staffThe Golden California roll is awesome! We always get the Angry wife roll, crazy roll. Both are fried rolls and delicious.
MoreWe were in town for the weekend and tried this place out for sushi. It was very good! I recommend the fire Dragon roll, fried calamari and egg rolls. Ingredients are fresh and the service is good.
MoreLocated in what looks like the husk of a Rainforest Cafe, Sushi Yama was as busy as you would expect for a Sunday Montgomery dinnertime, and though the conspiracy theory part of my mind had suspicions they were separating the Asian and non-Asian sections of the restaurant, hey - at least they thought Sushi Yama was up to snuff. Encouraging. The house special had ten pieces of sashimi, an equal number of sushi, and a Super Crunch Shrimp Roll. I had no issues with the cut of the fish, though the rice was a little hard and disconcerting. Also, the dish cost $44, and while I understand that apparently good fish costs quite a bit around here, I don't know if I would really consider it good enough to drop a Ulysses S. Grant on it here.
